DIY Fall Dishes with Expressions Vinyl

November 1, 2017 by Pam Larmore Leave a Comment

I’m so in love with fall this year.  I’m a spring-summer person, and I usually dread fall and the cooler weather.  However, this year, I’m going to enjoy it along with the mums, pumpkins, and autumn colors and decorations.  Expressions Vinyl has adhesive vinyl in beautiful fall colors perfect for making decor this time of year.

I already made some fall decorations using my Cricut Maker, like these Halloween Pumpkins and this set of beautiful Kitchen Towels.

I thought a pretty set of Fall Dishes would be pretty sitting on the china cabinet during November after the Halloween decorations are put away.

Cricut Maker Review

October 26, 2017 by Pam Larmore 5 Comments

Oh Cricut Maker, how I love you! Hahaha!  OK stop laughing.  I’ve had a love affair with all things Cricut when the very first one was introduced.  Do you remember that one? It only cut 6″ wide, but it was a dream machine.  I couldn’t imagine Cricut coming out with anything better than that, but a short time later, they released the Expression.  I loved that machine too.

This Cricut Maker Review tells why the Maker is the ultimate cutting machine and why you need one. You can cut mat board, felt, burlap, vinyl, and so much more. #cricut #cricutmaker

Easy Fall Table Decoration

October 24, 2017 by Pam Larmore Leave a Comment

I don’t have many fall decorations.  I’m not sure why.  I like to decorate outside with pumpkins, gourds, mums, and pansies, but the inside gets neglected.  We are an “outside on-the-go family”, so maybe that’s why.

I made fall paper mache pumpkins , but I wanted something to go with them.  I had a ton of silk leaves in fall colors that I had gotten on clearance years ago.  I thought that an Easy Fall Table Decoration would be a great way to use them.

Dollar Tree Christmas Wreath

October 19, 2017 by Pam Larmore 5 Comments

I went to Dollar Tree over the weekend.  Oh My Goodness!  The Halloween section was full of orange, black, and purple sparkles, and the Thanksgiving supplies loaded every shelf at the ends of the isles.   The Dollar Tree Christmas sections was loaded with glitter and foil.

It’s that time of year where three major holidays converge to create colorful displays of fun supplies for fall and winter craft and home projects.

Wouldn’t this make a gorgeous Cricut Wedding Invitation?  I made this wedding card for a great couple on their wedding day,  but it would also be a gorgeous invitation.

We haven’t been to a wedding in 2 years, but on this day, we were invited to two weddings.  I wanted to design something special for the newly married couples.  Here’s one of my creations.

Coming up with gift ideas for friends and family that have everything is difficult, but these DIY Personalized Buckets using the Cricut Explore or the Cricut Maker are a great idea.

My husband and I had been invited to a wedding in three years, but wouldn’t you know, a few weeks ago we had two in one day.  Both of the couples are awesome, and fortunately both weddings were in the same town.

Paper Mache Pumpkins for Fall Decor

October 5, 2017 by Pam Larmore 2 Comments

I don’t do a lot of fall decorating inside my house.  I have one big sunflower centerpiece that I put on my dining room table with a plain fall tablecloth, but that’s about it.

Outside, I put mums, pumpkins, gourds, and pansies, but that’s really the extent of my fall decorating.

Turn paper mache pumpkins into beautiful decorations for your home for fall. You can paint them and add gold accents or flowers, acorns, and pine cones.
