Flowers are always perfect for a Thinking of You Card.
The Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge was one of the very first ones that I bought, and it’s still one of my favorites. I love the flowers, but I also love the bugs and creepy crawlies on that cartridge. Walk In My Garden can be used for so many fun Cricut projects.
I am a sucker for the paper stacks in Joanne Fabrics, and I found this one on sale for 50% off. It has lots of oranges and yellows in wonderful florals, stripes, dots, and natural prints. All of those mixy matchy papers make it easy to make cards.
The base of the card is vanilla Bazzill cardstock. Then I added a dark brown mat. For the flower, I cut the hydrangea, because I like the leaves. Since I only wanted the leaves, I cut off the flower part. Then I cut the same flower out three times in 3 different sizes and patterns.
I stamped Thinking of You using the Stampin’ Up set Teeny Tiny Wishes and punch it out using the Stampin’ Up Label punch.
To finish the card, I added bronze colored pearls and an off white bow using binder tape ribbon, also by Stampin’ Up.
Today was a snow day. We might have another one tomorrow. I sure hope so. It puts me in the mood to be crafty!

Oh Pam, this is wonderful! Such a refreshining burst of cheer! You’ve done a great job with the cartridge – I haven’t used my cricut in years! Maybe it’s time 🙂
TFS! ♥
Such a lovely card, and youve given me a great idea. I have a new punch that I can use to make something similar.
Very pretty Pam! I really like your layout & that flower…nice work!!!
Such a great card!! I am embarrassed to say that I do not use my Cricut nearly enough! Maybe you could come play and teach me some of these neat tricks! 🙂 Love this sweet card!
