There are accents that can be used for scrapbook pages and Cricut Cards, but there are also wonderful three dimensional boxes and bags that are perfect for candy, small gifts and party favors.

By using beautiful patterned papers and a few other supplies, you can create these wonderful Cricut Projects with the Tags Bags Boxes and More Cartridge. After you have mastered these, you can explore the Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge.

When I finished this Heart Box using the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More Cartridge I showed it to my daughter and said that I was going to make these for her wedding! She doesn’t even have a boyfriend yet! These would be beautiful in the bridal colors with their initials on them.

Heart favor box for a wedding, shower, or Valentine's Day - The Tag Bags Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge has boxes and gift bags perfect for party favors and gift cards. There are also tons of tags that you can use on cards, scrapbook pages, and to make bookmarks.

I used double sided Designer Paper from Stampin’ Up to create this adorable hot pink and black box. The double sided paper has a nice weight to it, but it was flimsy before I added the squares of black cardstock and patterned paper to the side.

The hot pink flowers with black rhinestone centers are a perfect accent for this box. You could also make flowers using the Cricut or punches.

My imagination is running wild! I can think of lots of uses for these little boxes from the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More Cartridge. They would be perfect for baby shower favors or a little girl’s birthday party, and of course you could make tons of these for Valentine’s Day!

Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Matchbox Gift Card Holder – Great Gift Card Holder

Match Box for a gift card - The Tag Bags Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge has boxes and gift bags perfect for party favors and gift cards. There are also tons of tags that you can use on cards, scrapbook pages, and to make bookmarks.I made this matchbox using the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More. It is the perfect size for holding a gift card.

I cut the inside drawer 4 1/4″ and the outside is 4 1/2″. Then I used a Martha Stewart punch for the larger scalloped edge and the lattice ribbon down the center. The Martha Stewart Lattice punch is beautiful, but because of the detail, it will not punch thick cardstock.

To finish off the matchbox, I tied a grosgrain ribbon around it. It would also look great with a big flower on top.

I used double sided Designer paper from Stampin’ Up to make this Cricut Project. I like to use double sided paper for projects where both sides show. The Stampin’ Up paper has a nice weight to it, but I still needed to reinforce this project with solid cardstock.

Cricut Tags Bags Boxes and More Carrot Candy Holder

Carrot box for Easter - The Tag Bags Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge has boxes and gift bags perfect for party favors and gift cards. There are also tons of tags that you can use on cards, scrapbook pages, and to make bookmarks. This cute carrot was cut using the cake box shape on the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. The orange Bo-Bunny Press Double Dot paper was perfect for this Cricut Project, and the green dotted bow tops it off perfectly. A basket of carrots filled with jelly beans make adorable Easter Party favors for work or school.

Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Christmas Tree Box

Perfect for Christmas Candy

Christmas Tree Box for giving candies - The Tag Bags Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge has boxes and gift bags perfect for party favors and gift cards. There are also tons of tags that you can use on cards, scrapbook pages, and to make bookmarks.I used the Fit To Page Feature on the Cricut Expression to make this cute Christmas Tree Box using the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More Cartridge. It is a nice size for small pieces of candy or money, but a gift card will not fit in it.

You can leave the bottom (where the trunk is) open for adding and taking out candy or you can leave one of the long sides open.

The Cricut makes “tick” marks on all of the boxes and bags so you know where to score and fold. The Christmas Tree needs to be folded precisely in order to get a good shape. Terrifically Tacky Tape or Red Line Tape is a wonderful adhesive to assembling this box.

Tacky Tape comes on a roll in different widths, and it is VERY sticky. If you touch it, you will see that it is noticeably more sticky than regular adhesive. It is permanent and because it is so sticky, once you touch it to something, you will not be able to get it apart without ripping the paper.

Tips for Using the Cricut Cartridge Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More

  1. Use heavy weight paper for your projects. I use double sided Designer Paper on some Cricut projects, but I still need to reinforce the sides of the boxes and bags. If you have thin paper that you would like to use, cut the same shape using thicker cardstock and stick them together before folding your bag or box.
  2. “Tick marks” cut on the bags and boxes so you can see where to fold them. The “tick marks” are difficult to see on patterned paper. I suggest cutting one out on solid cardstock first so you can see the marks.
  3. Use a bone folder to make creases where the folds will be. You will get a much neater folder by doing this. After folding use the bone folder to get a crisp crease.
  4. Use Terrifically Tacky Tape, Red Line Tape, or Glue Lines for adhering the flaps. Regular adhesive isn’t strong enough to keep the boxes and bags attached. Tacky Tape comes in different widths and can be trimmed to a thin line for small spots.

Bookmark - The Tag Bags Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge has boxes and gift bags perfect for party favors and gift cards. There are also tons of tags that you can use on cards, scrapbook pages, and to make bookmarks.

There are tons of different shapes of tags on this cartridge.  I made this bookmark using one of them and a few extra supplies to embellish it.  For a complete tutorial on how I made it, visit How To Make Bookmark With the Cricut.
