Cricut Wedding Card With Hearts

June 5, 2015 by Pam Larmore 7 Comments

It is that time of year, when love is in the air and couples are getting married.  I made this Cricut Wedding Card for a couple that I’ve known for quite a few years.  My daughter has been friends with the groom since middle school.  He used to ride to school with us, and the two of them got into a lot of mischief during high school!  His bride graduated with my daughter, we’ve known her for many years too. Handmade Hunting Cricut Wedding Card with Camouflage

July 29, 2014 by Pam Larmore 1 Comment

Here’s a very unconventional Cricut Wedding Card, but it suited the bride perfectly!

This camouflage wedding shower card is a rather odd combination, but it suited the bride perfectly. It was one of the most fun Cricut Wedding Cards that I've ever made!

I love making cards for people.  I got a special request, and this one was a challenge!  She wanted a handmade wedding shower card, and the bride hunts, so she wanted camouflage on it.

I knew I was going to cut a bride out using the Wedding Solutions Cricut Cartridge, and I knew I wanted her holding a rifle cut using the Old West Cricut Cartridge.  I had no idea what I was going to do after that!

I really had to think about this one.  I used dark green for the background and added the camouflage paper.  Then I added a strip of black cardstock.  I used a small scalloped edged Stampin’ Up punch and added a tan bow.  I stamped For Your Shower and punched it out with an oval.  Then I punched a scalloped oval to g behind it. The punch is also from Stampin’ Up.

To finish the card, I added stick on pearls to the For Your Shower Sentiment and to her wedding dress.  I put one pearl in her hair and made her a necklace.  On the bottom of the wedding dress, I added icicles Stickles glitter glue.

On the inside, I put, The Hunt Is Over.

This handmade wedding card is definitely one of a kind!  Country, redneck, rustic, and camouflage weddings are very popular here. I bet this won’t be my last camouflage wedding card request.
