Make This Easy Pig Cricut Card

August 30, 2014 by Pam Larmore 5 Comments

I have a fun Pig Cricut Card to share today for my design team spot at My Cricut Craft Room.  I have a friend who loves pigs, and this silly pink pig makes perfect cards!

I am at a weekend crop at a local hotel.  I’ve been working on some other Cricut Projects, so I will have more fun things to share soon.

I started the weekend by cutting a few things from the Country Life Cricut Cartridge.  I thought I had used it, but the tape was still on the cartridge, so I guess I hadn’t.  I need to get with it!!!  There are tons of fun shapes on that cartridge!

How To Make this Pig Cricut Card

Ok onto my Pig Cricut Card.  I used the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge to cut this cute 3 1/2″ piggy.  The base of this card is a piece of white 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ cardstock folded in half.  The patterned papers are from the Nana’s Nursery – Baby Girl Stack by Die Cuts With a View.  I used the lime green dotted paper for the background.  It measures 5 1/4″ x 4″.  The striped paper is 5″ x 1 1/2″, and the floral paper is 5″ x 3″.  I tied a pink ribbon where the papers meet to cover the seam.

The Hogs & Kisses stamp is from My Pink Stamper.  I stamped it on a long rectangle, then trimmed the edge.  I added three pink pearls as accents to finish the front of the card.

I don’t always decorate the inside of my card, but I had leftover scraps that were the perfect size.  I added a small Prima flower to the lower right corner.  I just bought the Martha Stewart Branch Punch, and knew it would make great leaves to go behind the flower.  I added a tiny drop of Eucalyptus Stickles Glitter Glue to the center of flower.

The Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge is one of my favorites, and has lots of adorable animals.

Here are more cards using that Cartridge.

Handmade Pig Card Colored with Copic Markers

July 31, 2014 by Pam Larmore 4 Comments

This sweet pink Handmade Pig Card just makes me smile. This handmade card went together pretty quickly, and I love how it turned out. The pink and green color combination are so cheerful.
Handmade pig card colored with Copic Markers and a free digi stamp. Such a cute card!

How I Made this Handmade Pig Card

The pig image is from Sliekje Digi Stamps.  She is a wonderful artist who draws the most adorable kids and animals.  All of her images are so sweet with lots of little details.  All of her images are FREE!  She says that she has been blessed with this wonderful talent and wants to share it.  She only asks that you give her credit.  Give her a visit at Sliekje Digi Stamps.

I used a scalloped square Nestabilities from Spellbinders and a Stampin’ Up border punch.  I layered pink and green flowers and held them together with a striped brad.  The papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle.

As if the pig isn’t sweet enough, the mouse on his back is just as cute!

I hope you’re enjoying something crafty today.
