Cricut Ladybug Card

February 9, 2015 by Pam Larmore 12 Comments

Valentine’s Day is just over a week away, and I have a super sweet, yet super easy Cricut Ladybug Card to share with you.

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?  My husband and I have been married for 27 years, and we’ve never really celebrated the day of love.  Of course when we were dating, he gave me cheesy drugstore tokens like a cute plaque with a teddy bear that says, “Bear in mind, I want you for my Valentine”.  Awwwww!!!

After we got married, money was tight, and we just didn’t celebrate.  Flowers are ridiculously expensive this week, and all of the restaurants are super crowded.   Last year, I did put in a request for some Ghirardelli Squares, and he came through like a champ!

OK enough about all that mushy stuff, and onto the Cricut Ladybug Card.

Stampin Up Card Using By The Tide Set

September 22, 2014 by Pam Larmore 5 Comments

This Stampin Up Card has been popular among my crafting friends. We live in rural Maryland, between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, where fishing, crabbing, and water creatures are common.

Cricut Owl Baby Card Using Create A Critter Cartridge

July 5, 2014 by Pam Larmore 7 Comments

I made a Cricut Owl Baby Card using the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge.  As much as I use that cartridge, I’m sure you’ve guessed that it’s one of my favorites!

This Cricut Owl Baby Girl card is adorable! It uses the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge and Songbord Cricut Cartridge. I love how this turned out!

I don’t need baby cards very often, but I love making them.  They are so sweet, and they are always so cheerful.

Make This Cricut Owl Baby Card

I used the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge to make the sleepy owl.  The branch that she’s sitting on is from the Songbird Cricut Cartridge.  To help the branch stand out, I added brown ink around the edges of the die cut.

I wanted to add a little something to the tree branch, and these tiny Prima Flowers from my stash were the perfect size and color.  I used the Stampin’ Up Build A Bird punch to cut the tiny leaves from a dotted green paper that matches the rest of the card.

The “Hello Baby” sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up.  The label which it is stamped on is a Stampin’ Up punch.

I LOVE the printed papers that I used on this owl card.  They are from the Die Cuts With a View Nana’s Girl Stack.  All of the solid cardstocks are from Bazill Basics.

To finish the card I added tiny adhesive rhinestones and a small ribbon bow to the owl’s head.  This card was so much fun to make.  I hope you’re doing something craft today too!!

Handmade Valentine’s Day Card

February 14, 2014 by Pam Larmore 3 Comments

Here is a sweet Handmade Valentine’s Day Card for you to make.  The layout is pretty simple.  I used scraps left over from other projects, and it came together nicely.

Happy Valentine’s Day!  I got a beautiful arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries from my friend Cathy today.  It was beautiful!  It’s looking a little bare now.  Haha!!  There were nuts, sprinkles, and chocolate chips.  It was a wonderful surprise!

Here is the last Valentine’s Day Card for the year.  I’m moving on to something else.

I used vanilla Bazzill cardstock for the card base.  It is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ then folded in half.  The mat or background is walnut Bazzill cardstock.  I also used the same color to mat the image.

I colored the digi image from DigiGarden with Copic Markers.  The patterned papers are from Bo Bunny.  You can’t see in the photo, but the papers have a pretty shimmer to them.  The ribbon and ribbon slide are from Close To My Heart.  The flowers have a bit of glitter on them and are perfect for this card.  They came from my stash of goodies.  I love being able to use up bits and pieces leftover from other projects!

I hope you’ve had a great day!
