Easter Card Ideas For You to Try

February 21, 2017 by Pam Larmore 5 Comments

Easter is the holiday that I look forward to the most.  Do you want to know why?  Because it’s in the SPRING!  Winter in Maryland seems to drag on and on, but when spring gets here, we know that there will be sunshine and flowers.

Handmade Easter Card Ideas - Here are some Handmade Easter Cards that I've made using rubberstamps, the Cricut, Copic Markers, Spellbinders, and more!

Warmer temperatures put me in a good mood and make me more motivated to send cards and make treats.  Here are some Handmade Easter Cards to try.

Easter Chick and Egg Cricut Card - Here are some Handmade Easter Cards that I've made using rubberstamps, the Cricut, Copic Markers, Spellbinders, and more!

I love the bright, cheerful colors on this Baby Chick Easter Card.   The Cricut has lots of wonderful shapes for making Easter Cards.

Easter scrapbook papers are always so pretty with bunnies, chicks, and decorated eggs.  Some people hoard Christmas or Halloween papers, but I’m drawn to Easter papers….and Easter Candy.  Chocolate Covered Marshmallow eggs!! Need I say more???

Penny Black Easter Card - Here are some Handmade Easter Cards that I've made using rubberstamps, the Cricut, Copic Markers, Spellbinders, and more!

I haven’t talked about Penny Black Stamps lately.  If you don’t know about Penny Black Stamps, you need to drop everything you’re doing and go look!  Their animals are so sweet!  There are dogs, cats, hedgehogs, bunnies and more.  I can’t resist cute animal stamps.

I colored this bunny stamp with Copic Markers and used a simple design to complete the card.  I know it doesn’t look simple, but it really is.  The beautiful layered shapes are Spellbinders Nestabilities.

Vintage Easter Card - Here are some Handmade Easter Cards that I've made using rubberstamps, the Cricut, Copic Markers, Spellbinders, and more!

When I first made this card, I didn’t like it.  Vintage isn’t really my style, I guess.  The more I looked at it though, the more it grew on me.  I love the blue forget-me-not flowers on the egg.  They are one of my favorites, but I have trouble growing them.

The papers  and butterfly are from a Die Cuts With A View Paper Stack.  They have just a touch of gold foil on them.  I really should try to step out of my box more often and make more Vintage Cards.

Chick and Egg Card - Handmade Easter Card Ideas - Here are some Handmade Easter Cards that I've made using rubberstamps, the Cricut, Copic Markers, Spellbinders, and more!

The layout for this Easter Card is super simple and great for beginners.  The papers aren’t really for Easter, but the colors work with the egg and chick.

Bunny and Cabbage - Handmade Easter Card Ideas - Here are some Handmade Easter Cards that I've made using rubberstamps, the Cricut, Copic Markers, Spellbinders, and more!

Here’s another Penny Black Easter Card, just in case you doubted how much I love her stamps.  This one has a bunny hiding in a head of cabbage.  It reminds me of Peter Cottontail and Mr. McGregor’s garden.

Cricut Easter Card Using A Child's Year and Songbird Cricut Cartridges. This bunny rabbit card is sweet and could be for another occasion. Definitely using this die cut on other cards.

This Easter Card has a girl feeding a bunny a carrot.  The die cut was made with the Cricut.

All Free Paper Crafts has a wonderful selection of Handmade Easter Cards to help jump start your creativity.

Gather a selection of Easter supplies, and make a stack of cards this weekend.  It’s a fun project to work on with friends or sit and relax while you work on them.
