The Joys of the Season Cricut Cartridge is perfect for a Winter Cricut snow scrapbook page. We had 5-6″ of white fluffy snow here in Maryland over night. My husband works for a power company and is in charge of clearing the sidewalks and parking lot so the employees can get to their offices safely. That leaves my son and I at home to fend for ourselves.
I shoveled the walk before going to bed last night. I just finished shoveling what fell overnight and cleaning off my car. It really wasn’t too bad. It was powdery and easy to shovel. Thank goodness I don’t have to go anywhere today. My boss is in Florida this week. He picked the perfect week, since it’s been bitterly cold, windy, and now snowy since he left.
It’s the perfect afternoon for baking a chicken, making cards at the dining room table, and watching the birds at the feeder in the snow. I’m also doing a little laundry and housework, but it’s still a great day!

Winter Cricut Scrapbook Page
OK onto this awesome two page Winter Cricut scrapbook layout! Steph with Crafty Ladybug Creations made this awesome two page layout. She is incredibly creative and talented. She’s not just a scrapbooker, but she also does Rainbow Loom Creations, floral arrangements, and anything crafty.
Steph started with two 12×12 sheets of eskimo, igloo, polar bear patterned paper. She added a great dotted strip to the bottom portion of the page. By adding purple cardstock under the dotted papers, it really breaks it up from the other patterned paper, yet it matches perfectly! She added black mats with a snowflake and square patterned paper.
Kissing polar bears, a penguin family, and snowflakes from the Joys of the Season Cricut Cartridge are the perfect accents for this Cricut snow scrapbook page. The purple polar bear scarves and bits of purple in the snowflakes ties everything together.
The Eskimo Kisses title with snowflake were designed and cut on the Pazzles Electronic cutter. You can create something similar using the Cricut Explore and Brody font.
These kissing polar bears are perfect for a Winter Cricut scrapbook page. To get them facing each other, Steph cut one regular polar bear, which is facing to the right. Then she cut the other bear using the Flip feature on the Cricut Expression machine, so that it’s looking to the left. Did you notice the eyelashes and pink nose on the bear on the right? Isn’t she pretty?
This penguin family would feel right at home here this week! Steph cut these penguins in four different sizes. She added yellow glitter beaks and feet.
Even though we’re not in the arctic, it sure has felt like this week! Over the weekend, temperatures were in the single digits with 45-50 mph winds! To make matters worse, we had a wet snow before the temps dropped 10 degrees in an hour, flash freezing all of the slush and wet snow. Talk about a slippery mess! They are calling for single digits temps here again later in the week. It’s not unheard of to have low temps like that in Maryland, but it’s not often.
