This sweet Handmade Farm Girl Card is the perfect way to end the week.
The adorable farm girl with her lovable chicken is from The Digi Garden. (Unfortunately, the website closed after the owner passed away.)
I colored it with Copic Markers. When I colored her, I accidentally dropped a dark gray marker about 1/4″ from her head….Ughhh!!! So the card that I had planned in my head suddenly changed. Instead of having her in a rectangle, I fussy cut her which worked great for this card.
The base of the card is white. The designer papers are from a Making Memories stack. I added navy card stock to the background and a layer of blue gingham designer paper to that. Then I cut strips of designer papers and navy card stock to make the scalloped borders which I punched with Martha Stewart punches. The top navy border was made using the Stampin’ Up ribbon punch.
I finished the card with a little bit of natural twine which is the perfect accent for this country girl. I live in a rural area, and I have lots of farm friends. I know lots of people who would love this Handmade Farm Girl Card. I’m going to have to print her off and make some more!

This sweet pink Handmade Pig Card just makes me smile. This handmade card went together pretty quickly, and I love how it turned out. The pink and green color combination are so cheerful.
The pig image is from Sliekje Digi Stamps. She is a wonderful artist who draws the most adorable kids and animals. All of her images are so sweet with lots of little details. All of her images are FREE! She says that she has been blessed with this wonderful talent and wants to share it. She only asks that you give her credit. Give her a visit at Sliekje Digi Stamps.
I used a scalloped square Nestabilities from Spellbinders and a Stampin’ Up border punch. I layered pink and green flowers and held them together with a striped brad. The papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle.
As if the pig isn’t sweet enough, the mouse on his back is just as cute!
I hope you’re enjoying something crafty today.

I don’t like real mice, but this Mouse Handmade Card is so cute!! This mouse is simply adorable, sleeping so soundly on the leaf, under the flower. His ladybug friend completes the card perfectly.

Happy Friday!!! Pat yourself on the back for making it through another week. I thought I’d end the week with a cute handmade teddy bear card. This pretty girl would make a great baby card or birthday card for a little girl. It could be a sweet card for just saying Hello.

Who wouldn’t love to receive a cute little dog card? Especially if the sweet pup was in a basket with pretty spring flowers!
This cute images is from Robyn’s Fetish. I colored it with Copic Markers, and I realized that I need more shades of browns. I’m still working on shading. It takes a lot of patience, and even more practice! I would love to take a class, but there aren’t any near here. I think I may try an online class when the weather gets too hot to be outside….
Have you used your Copic Markers to make backgrounds? I was playing around with my Copic Markers on day, and seeing which colors blend well. I tried different combinations of similar shades, from very light, to bright.
I posted my Sunset Backgrounds using Copic Pens, and here are more Backgrounds Using Copic Markers.
