Let’s get this party started with a Cricut Birthday Scrapbook Page! Even though this scrapbook layout is for birthday, it could easily be tweaked for graduation, retirement, or other celebration.
I’m SICK SICK SICK of winter! There I said it. I’m cold. I’m grumpy, I need sunshine! I’m ready for barbecues, pool parties, and gardening. I’ve been listening to up beat music and trying to get in the party mood.
There are certain themes that everyone always needs, and one of them is birthday. We seem to take tons of photos at birthday parties.
Are you one of those amateur photographers who takes 675 photos of a one hour party?? Then when you have enough pictures of cake, presents, and confetti to fill a 12×12 album, you can’t come up with a single idea for a Cricut Birthday Scrapbook Page? You’re not alone!
Here is a simple Cricut Birthday Page Layout using the Something to Celebrate Cricut Cartridge. This is a two page 12×12 layout using the Birthday Bash paper stack from Die Cuts With A View.
I used Sunshine Bazzill Cardstock for the background. Then I added 3″ strips of birthday patterned paper 2/3 down the page. Under the patterned paper, I added a 1 1/2″ strip of dotted paper. Two 1/2″ strips of red striped paper were added to cover some of the seams.
The balloons were cut at 6″. The party hat is 4″, and the banner is 2″. The paper that I used have glitter, foil, and embossing, so I didn’t add any additional embellishments.

I got a Cricut Explore for Christmas. I managed to get it set up during the Christmas-New Year’s break, but I never used it. I wanted to learn how to use it at a weekend crop in January, but the hotel didn’t have WIFI. Last weekend, while it was bitterly cold and icy, I sat down with the machine, my laptop, and YouTube.
It didn’t take long to catch on. I still have lots to learn, but I managed to cut out lots of great shapes for scrapbook pages. I can’t wait to share them with you!
