St. Patrick’s Day Cricut Cards Using Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge

March 11, 2014 by Pam Larmore 13 Comments

Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?  I’m going to a St. Patrick’s Day party this year, but we don’t normally celebrate the day of the Irish.

There is a parade in a nearby town.  The participants not only wear green, but they dress their dogs in green and have green decorated golf carts.  I’ve seen pictures, and it looks like so much fun!  I’ve always wanted to go to it, but the weather never seems to cooperate.  I’m hoping to make it this year though!

A couple of weeks ago, I started working on some St. Patrick’s Day Projects using the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge. I had some St. Patrick’s Day designer paper that I’ve had for years. It’s very classy looking with celtic patterns and tiny shamrocks. There is also a coordinating print that is light blue and green.

I made two versions of this St. Patrick’s Day card.  I made one with a leprechaun’s hat and one with a pot of gold.  For the pot of gold, I added gold Stickles Glitter Glue to make it look like gold coins in the pot.  I also added shamrocks that I cut from A Child’s Year Cricut Cartridge and Paper Doll Dress Up.  The Happy St. Patrick’s Day is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set from Stampin’ Up.

I also decorated the inside of the cards with smaller shamrocks and pots of gold and added them to the lower left corner.  If you have a Cricut, put it to work!  There are so many fun things that you can make with it!

Here are two other St. Patrick’s Day Cards that I’ve made.  Leprechaun Cricut Card and Easy Shamrock Card.
