I love watching the snow settle in a snow globe, so I really love how this card turned out. This Snow Globe Christmas Card has a really interesting color combination that’s not traditional for Christmas, but it really works.
I sent this Snow globe Christmas card to my Secret Sister on Split Coast Stampers. It is a 6×6 card which is different than what I usually make. I love the size. It gives you extra room to work and allows for larger accents.
The Stampendous Snow Globe Stamp is colored with Copic Markers. I colored the whole image, then cut the wooden base off of it. I put the globe portion through the Xyron so that the sticky was on the colored side of the image. I covered the adhesive with clear glitter, which you can really see in the photo below.
The Merry Christmas is from Stampin’ Up and stamped on a Stampin’ Up Small Label. I added rhinestone accents and a bow. I really like the light green and medium blue. It’s a little different for the holidays, but it still looks Christmasy.
