Projects Using Coloring Book Pages

March 27, 2017 by Pam Larmore 7 Comments

Who had the great idea of creating coloring books for adults?  I love them, and I have found some projects using coloring book pages so you can save your pages and put them on display.

Here are some clever projects using Coloring Book Pages. These projects will give you away to enjoy and display Adult Coloring books.

Like many, I have been bitten by the adult coloring book bug.  It’s a wonderful activity while watching TV or sitting outside at the patio table.  I have a few pages that turned out GORGEOUS, and I hate not being able to enjoy them.  I started searching for ways to display them.  I have a few that are beautiful enough to be frames.

Some adult coloring books have amazing detail or inspirational messages.  It’s sad to spend all that time coloring, then leave them in the book.  Those little bits of work should be shared and enjoyed.

My Mom gave me a Snowflake Mandella Coloring Book for Christmas.  I loved all of the cool patterns.  This Coloring Book Sphere is a great way to use mandella coloring pages.  It takes 20 circles to make one sphere.

Here’s a video showing how I did this project.

Color your pages to match your home decor.  Then you can put them on a canvas and display them on easels or hanging on the wall. The Inspiration Vault will show you how to Transform Coloring Pages into Home Decor.

I would have never thought about using coloring pages for key chains.  Did you do Shrinky Dinks when you were younger?  It was one of my favorite activities.  This is the adult version of that fun craft.

Jessica with Cutesy Crafts will show you how to make Adult Coloring Page Key Chains.

All of these fun projects are pretty easy, and they are fun ways to save the beautiful art work that you’ve created.  They might give you some ideas on displaying your kids’s art work too.

Love this idea! So far I only completed two colouring projects because I didn’t see a point in spending all the time for something that will be shoved back Into the book shelf.

Pam, I’ve cut my page down to card base size or smaller and use the pieces to make or add to a greeting card .

Take coloring pages to Staples. They turn them into greeting cards! Just be mindful that glitter pens, metalics, etc., will not work. Pages can be copy-reduced to make your own cards too.
