There’s a mouse in the house! Not a real mouse, but a cute rubber stamped mouse from Stampabilities. This Mouse Handmade Christmas Card uses classic Christmas colors and a simple design.
I made this Mouse Handmade Christmas card for a challenge at Perfect Sentiments Challenge’s for their Anniversary/Birthday celebration.
The challenge was to make a Christmas Card with a critter of some kind on it. This is actually the second card that I made for this challenge. The first one is ADORABLE, but I forget that it had to be a Christmas Card….ooops! Oh well, I have a sweet card to share on another day!
I colored the mouse using Stampin’ Up Watercolor pencils and a blender pen. I used 3 different border punches on this card. They are Martha Stewart Doily Lace, Martha Stewart Scalloped Dot, and EK Success Scroll and Border Punch. It’s the first time I’ve used the Scroll and Border Punch, and I really like it. I can’t wait to use it more!
The scalloped oval is from Stampin’ Up, and the Merry Christmas is from the Stampin’ Up Teeny Tiny Wishes Set. To complete the card I added red rhinestones to the sentiment and the corner of the stamped image.
