Mouse Handmade Card Using Copics and Nestabilities

June 6, 2014 by Pam Larmore 5 Comments

I don’t like real mice, but this Mouse Handmade Card is so cute!!  This mouse is simply adorable, sleeping so soundly on the leaf, under the flower.  His ladybug friend completes the card perfectly.

This sweet image is from Sliekje Digi Stamps.  She is a beautiful artist, and she offers all of her digis for FREE!  She only asks that you give her credit when using them.  She has all kinds of animals and the cutest kids you’ve ever seen.

How I Made this Mouse Handmade Card

I don’t make square cards very often, but I should.  I love how they look.  This one is 4.75″ x 4.75″.  My Mom had a 5×5 envelope, so I made the card to fit it.  I used the circle and scalloped circle Nestabilities from Spellbinders.

I colored the image with Copic Markers, and added a little bit of Stickles Glitter Glue on the leaf and flower.   All of the papers are from the Butterfly Garden Paper Stack from Die Cuts With A View.  I added a mint green flower with a tiny pale pink flower in the center, held together with a brad.  The flowers are from Prima, and the brad was in my stash.

I can’t believe the weekend is almost here!  I hope you get to spend time with family and make lots of memories.  If you want to make a Mouse Handmade Card, here are some others to inspire you!
