Have you used your Copic Markers to make backgrounds? I was playing around with my Copic Markers on day, and seeing which colors blend well. I tried different combinations of similar shades, from very light, to bright.

When I was done playing, I didn’t want to waste what I had done, so I borrowed a Stampin’ Up stamp from my Mom and stamped the image in black. I colored the flowers and leaves with Copics, but I kept them light and subtle.
I used Nestabilities to cut out the oval and scalloped oval. the pattern papers from Die Cuts With a View.
Here is another card with a similar background in shades of blue and green. The patterned paper is retired from Close To My Heart. I added a simple blow as a final touch.
I’m still fairly new to Copic Markers. I got started with the Copic Markers 36 piece set.
