There are so many beautiful papers and supplies for girl scrapbooking pages, but it’s more difficult to find supplies for making a Boy Scrapbook. The Boys Will Be Boys Cricut Cartridge has wonderful die cuts for boys of all ages.
The fun boy die cuts that I used on these scrapbook pages are on the Boys Will Be Boys Cricut Cartridge. That cartridge is loaded with all of the things that little boys love. The shapes can be cut by themselves, or they have circular backgrounds that can go behind them.
I made a simple layout using Bazzill Blue as the backround. Bazzill Blue is one of my five most used colors of cardstock. The square printed paper is an old designer paper from Chatterbox Designs. I don’t think they are in business any longer, but my friend found this paper at Tuesday Morning. The back of the patterned paper is pale green which I used for the mats.
This 100% Boy title is perfect for anything that little boys get into. Being able to cut it in four colors allows you to match the colors to any layout or Cricut Project. I put the title on a pale green background and then matted it in navy before putting it on my boy scrapbook page.
Supplies Used to Make this Boy Scrapbook Page:
- 12×12 Bazzill Blue Cardstock
- 4″ Cricut Dump Truck with Circle Background
- 3″ Hammer and Screwdriver with Circle Background
- 3″ x 10″ piece of patterned paper
- 2″ x 9″ piece of pale green paper
- 5 3/4″ x 3 3/5″ rectangle photo mat in pale green
- 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ square photo mat in pale green
- 6″ x 4″ Navy cardstock to mat the photo mat
- 4″ x 4″ Navy cardstock to mat the photo mat
Double matting for the photo mats is really going to make the photos “pop” on this boy scrapbook page. I also added a little bit of Stickles Glitter Glue to highlight the tools and dump truck.
If you have little boys, I hope you will check out this great Cricut Cartridge.
