I created this pretty Handmade Wedding Card using the Cricut. Keep reading to see how I made it.
How I Made this Handmade Wedding Card
I love the pale colors and subtle patterns on this Handmade Wedding Card.
The designer paper is from the Butterfly Garden Die Cuts With a View Stack. I have used this stack so many times! It has watercolor backgrounds in pretty shades of pale pink, pale green, and pale blue. There are subtle floral and butterfly designs with bits of gold foil mixed in. This paper stack is beautiful for making greeting cards.
The border punch is from Stampin’ Up, and I used Nestabilities from Spellbinders for the large oval and scalloped ovals. The smaller oval and scalloped oval with the sentiment are from Stampin’ Up. The “Best Wishes” sentiment is from a Stampin’ Up set called Petite Pairs. Two light pink adhesive pearls were the perfect accent to the saying.
I used the wedding cake from the Wedding Solutions Cricut Cartridge. I cut it in white and used a pale pink Copic Marker to color the heart on the top of the cake and to edge the frosting. I attached it to the card with Pop Dots to give it some dimension.
I added a white bow and dots of pale pink Perfect Pearls for details on the wedding cake. I wanted the details on the cake to look realistic.
