I needed a little bling for my dining room table during Christmas. I had just opened my Cricut Maker Machine, and a roll of silver glitter iron on. Oh my gosh I love silver glitter! I really put the Maker to the test with these intricate snowflakes. It cut all of the details on these DIY Christmas Napkins flawlessly.
Materials Needed for Christmas Table Napkins
- Royal Blue Cloth Napkins
- Silver Foil Glitter Heat Transfer
- Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Machine
- Iron
I started by searching for snowflakes in Cricut Design Space. There are tons to choose from. Some of the ones that I really liked had a lot of detail, but I thought I’d see if the Maker was up for the challenge. It was! Look at the tiny slits in the snowflake below.
Some of the snowflakes that I chose had more than one layer. I used the ungroup feature in Cricut Design Space to separate the layers and delete the ones that I didn’t need.
I prewashed the table napkins, because I knew they would shrink. The silver glitter ironed on nicely. After finishing them, I had all kinds of ideas for color combinations for napkin, place mats, and tablecloths.
Here are a few more projects that I made with the Cricut Maker.
- Pallet Snowman Craft
- Glitter Christmas Tree Balls Make Custom Gifts!
- DIY Coat Rack
