Cricut Valentine Treat Tags

January 8, 2018 by Pam Larmore 2 Comments

My Christmas Crafts are packed away, and it’s time to work on Valentine’s Day and winter craft projects.  I saw these cute tags in Cricut Design Space™ and thought they would be great for adding to little gifts and treats.

Welcome to the Bling on the Crafts Hop.  The members of the Craft Cult have lots of great projects to share at the end of this post.  Join us on Facebook and share your crafts with us.

I finished up Week #1 of the Craft Room Challenge and found my work table and chair over the weekend.  Since I had a place to create, I was excited to get started with a few Valentine’s Day Crafts Projects.

I used the Cricut Maker to create these cute Valentine Tags for Treat Bags. What are you making for Valentine’s Day? #cricutmaker #Valentinesday #cricut

Cricut Design Space has a library of the most amazing pre-designed projects that are easy to create using the Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker.    There is home decor, cards, and vinyl projects for every holiday and event.

Here is a video showing how to get this project in Cricut Design Space.

Here are the written instructions.

To start this project, open Cricut Design Space. Click Project on the left sidebar.  In the search bar in the upper right corner, type “Valentine”.  Click on the photo of the Valentine’s Day treat bag tags.

They are shown in red, pink, and teal, but I changed the colors.  I had some amazing glitter paper and foil paper from the Dollar Tree.  They cute beautifully in the Cricut Maker, and they were the perfect colors for this project.

Load a thin tipped black pen into the pen holder before you start cutting.

Here are all of the pieces after I finished cutting them.  You will end up with a gray heart, L, V, and E that you won’t use.

Before gluing any of the pieces, I laid them out, referencing the photo for placement.

Glue all of the pieces for your tags using a thin tipped Glue Pen.

I love these tags, and plan to attach them to some little gifts for loved ones.  Buy our co-workers favorite candy bars and attach one of these cute tags.  They will surprised when they find it on their desk.

You can also fill treat bags with candy and tie these tags at the top.  Kids and adults alike will love these!

These would also be cute on a handmade card or scrapbook page.

These tags are so cute! I love making tags on the Cricut. I’ll have to look for the paper at the dollar tree. I love the glitter.
