Cricut Baby Girl Scrapbook Page Idea

February 2, 2015 by Pam Larmore 16 Comments

There are so many die cut shapes for creating Cricut baby scrapbook pages.  Baby scrapbooks are probably the most popular theme.  Mothers may not have time to scrapbook all of their photos, but they will take the time to do baby’s first year.

The biggest problem for scrapbookers is coming up with ideas.  Here is a Cricut Baby Girl Scrapbook Page Idea that I hope you find helpful for sparking your creativity.

Are you new to scrapbooking?  You might want to read How To Make A Scrapbook.

Baby Girl Cricut Scrapbook Page - Use the Baby Cricut Cartridges to create wonderful additions to your baby's scrapbook. Scrapbook page uses Baby Steps and Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridges

The adorable shapes and “Sweet” title that I used on this double scrapbook page layout are from the Baby Steps Cricut Cartridge.  It has so many wonderful babies in different poses, titles, and shapes for both baby boys and baby girls.  This baby bottle is one of the great shapes on this cartridge.  You can choose to cut it in girly colors with a tulip flower or in boy colors with a sailboat.

I cut out a scalloped circle using the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge to put behind the bottle so that it stands out a little better.

Cricut Baby Complete Double Layout

Here is the complete two page Cricut Baby scrapbook layout.  The papers came from Tuesday Morning.  If you have a Tuesday Morning near you, check them out for good deals on scrapbook and card making supplies.  It’s hit or miss though.  Sometimes, they have a wide selection, and other times it’s slim pickings.  They often have 25 packs of patterned papers for $2-$3.  It’s a great deal if you can find some friends to share with.

This baby girl scrapbook paper has printed blocks on one side and the reverse is solid light pink with darker pink spatter marks.  Because it was so inexpensive, I don’t mind using it for backgrounds, but normally I wouldn’t do that.  I would use solid cardstock.  Some of the die cut Cricut shapes were cut out of the pink background as well so that they would match the layout.

I cut a border using Martha Stewart Scalloped Dot Punch from yellow cardstock and edged the patterned papers.  I cut 4×6 photo mats from yellow cardstock and punched the corners with a Wrought Iron punch from EK Success.

How cute is this teddy bear rattle with the bow in her hair?  I added a white scalloped cut out circle using the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge since the rattle was cut out of the same paper as the background.  It is one of many baby accessories on the Baby Steps Cricut Cartridge.  There are also pacifiers, baby food, toys, and baby clothes.  This cartridge easily covers all of a baby’s life events for the first two years.

Sweet Title from the Baby Steps Cricut Cartridge. Click the link to see the whole baby girl scrapbook link. www.psiloveyouscrapbooking.com

“Sweet” is one of the many titles on this baby and toddler Cricut Cartridge.  The base was cut out of green cardstock.  Then I used the layer feature to cut the letters W, E, E, and T.  This creates a two colored titled.  To make the title stand out, I used the shadow feature to cut the dark pink background.  To finish the title, I added green and clear Stickles glitter glue.  Stickles were also added to the bottle and rattle.

I hope this Cricut Baby Layout will give you a jump start to getting your scrapbooking caught up!
